What is EPS Nepal?

In full form EPS is said to be Employment Permit System (EPS). Recently Minister Mr. Mohammad Aftab Alam renewed the labor agreement under Employment Permit System (EPS). EPS Nepal, having permit of working visas to South Korea will take 15,000 Nepalese youth. Employment of foreign workers, 2003 had legislated by Government of Korea, which introduces employment permit system (EPS) for migrant worker.

This year near about 60,000(sixty thousand) Nepali youths submitted application forms for the Korean Language Test (KLT) on the aged between 18 to 39 years. Forms were distributed on 2^nd May to 5^th May 2011 at Employment Permit System (EPS) service centers in Gaushala, Chyasal and Kirtipur in Kathmandu as well as in Butwal outside the Capital. Employment Permit System Test of Proficiency in Korean, EPS-TOPIK can be an objective selection criterion for foreign job seekers who have basic knowledge about Korea and Korean language. According to department, TOPIK applicant should attempt 25 questions in listening and reading each, and secure 40% marks out of 200 to pass the test. However the selection of job aspirants for EPS is solely based on merit.

EPS Nepal Result 2011 will select 15,000 workers to fly for Korea, as permitted from agreement of Nepal Government and Korean Government.
